Have you ever noticed how people almost never act the same way around other people as they would by themselves? Practically everyone lives separate lives between their friends and themselves. We put on our masks and hide form the world, putting on the illusion of conformity, while we scream to stand out. Do we feel ashamed of who we really are? Are we scared that others would think too much of us? Too little? Why do people feel the need to separate from themselves for the sake of publicity?
I have a mask. My mask is that of the fool, the dope who goes with the flow of the world. The truth is that I don't care much for our world. So many people are nothing but greedy slobs who care about nothing but what they can do for themselves. I let others think that I'm oblivious, ignorant except to what's in front of me. But I watch. I watch from the corner of my eye. I listen to the barely audible whispers. I know. I know what people think of me, I know what they say, I know their doubts, their fears, their joys and triumphs. I know. And that's enough for me.

About Me
To start things off I want to tell you all a little bit about me, to make things simpler on me (and hopefully on you too), I will just make this information into a list:
- I am currently 16 years old
- I am currently a high school junior
- I am gay
- I am very self conscientious
- I am technically a genius, but I hate it when someone tries to call me one
- I am better with faces than I am with names
- I love art (you can probably tell if you look at my DeviantART page), but I don't consider myself to be very good at it
- I'm decent with math and science, but horrible with history
- I've been published in a collective book of poetry
Greetings!
My name is Christopher Brown! I'm starting this blog to simply connect with anyone out there who can relate to me, to life, really to anything. I will post as often as I have the time to, considering that I am a High School student after all. So, if anyone out there cares enough to, you can e-mail me at "the_average_me@yahoo.com" or contact me via DeviantART at "gakihenshin.deviantart.com". I look forward to sharing with you all!
